On Thanksgiving Day, the Dover Police Department responds to two separate shootings, leaving a 15-year-old male injured. The first incident, which occurred around 3:00 p.m. on Par Haven Drive, resulted in the juvenile being shot in the upper body while in a vehicle, although his injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.
In the second shooting at approximately 11:00 p.m. on South DuPont Highway, a 34-year-old man reported his car was struck by gunfire while he was driving, but he was unharmed. Currently, police have no leads regarding either shooting, and they urge anyone with information to contact them or submit anonymous tips to Delaware Crime Stoppers.
