Armed Citizen® Today A 46-year-old man was shot by the female resident of a Savannah, Ga., home in an apparent self-defense situation, police say. Officers responded to a report of shots fired at the address just before 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 26. There, they found a 46-year-old suspect suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds. Following an investigation, the wounded suspect was charged with simple assault and criminal trespass. A young man is in critical condition after being shot at an apartment complex near NRG Stadium in Houston early Sunday morning. Police report that just before the shooting, the 22-year-old victim may have been robbed at gunpoint by the same suspects, highlighting a concerning escalation of violence in the area.
