I Like the Nightlife … My backyard is far busier at night than I ever suspected. Mossberg was one of the first innovators within the “non-NFA, shotshell-firing firearm” space with the introduction of its pump-action 590 Shockwave in 2017. The hallmark of the design was its bird’s head grip configuration, which allowed the firearm to be equipped with a shortened 14.5” barrel while remaining at an overall length of just over 26”. Armed Citizen® Today An Illinois concealed-carry holder came to the rescue of a woman and her children, shooting a man as he attempted to kick in the back door of the family’s apartment, according to Chicago police. Sources say the 33-year-old suspect began threatening the woman inside the apartment before attempting to force his way in.
